MVSJ jazz band musicians are the Austin – San Antonio region’s most experienced, sought after jazz artists. All are entertainment professionals with the knowledge and experience to bring a truly vibrant energy to your event.

MVSJ jazz band members are degreed, full-time professionals on their respective instruments, and most hold university teaching positions and steady performance engagements at the area’s premier live music venues.

Dear Andrew, I wanted to thank you and Monte Vista Strings & Jazz for providing such incredible music at our wedding ceremony and reception. Watching everything again in the wedding video confirmed that every note was flawless. The duo at the cocktail hour was also amazing. The transition from the more formal strings to the classical guitar was the perfect segue into the celebratory part of the evening. Thank you again for your professionalism and your remarkable talent! I couldn’t dream of a more perfect soundtrack to the day.

Andrew: It was a pleasure working with you & your quartet. That was the most solid & elegant “backup” I’ve ever experienced on the Mozart quartet.

Thank you for doing such a wonderful job during our wedding ceremony. You were very professional in your approach and we certainly appreciate it and know that the Mission San Jose appreciated it as well.
